Dero digitata - fission zone, intermediate stage

DIC image of a intermediate stage fission zone (stage C) in a Dero digitata worm. The obliquous fission plane separates the developing new tail (left side) and new head (right side). On the dorsal side of the new head, the newly formed prostomium can be seen as a dorsal protuberance.
